Job Overview
We are seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our professional team of Biohazard Cleaning Technicians. This role involves attending sensitive and potentially hazardous environments, such as crime scenes, trauma incidents, unattended deaths, hoarded properties, or properties contaminated with bodily fluids, sewage, faeces, sharps, drugs, infestations, and more.
Our technicians play a vital role in restoring properties to safe, habitable conditions and providing compassionate support to those affected.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Respond promptly to callouts for biohazard, trauma, or specialist cleaning jobs across residential, commercial, and industrial sites
 - 
Assess and prepare worksites, identifying biohazards and safety risks
 - 
Use appropriate PPE, specialist tools, and cleaning products (including fogging and ozone treatment)
 - 
Clean, disinfect, deodorise, and restore contaminated areas
 - 
Dispose of hazardous and clinical waste safely and legally
 - 
Complete risk assessments, method statements, and job reports accurately
 - 
Work closely with vulnerable clients, bereaved families, law enforcement, landlords, and property managers
 - 
Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times
 - 
Participate in ongoing training and development sessions
 
Requirements
- 
Full UK driving licence (essential)
 - 
Physically fit and comfortable working in distressing or unpleasant environments
 - 
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow health & safety protocols
 - 
Previous cleaning, industrial, facilities, or emergency service experience (preferred)
 - 
CSCS, Biohazard, Trauma, or Sharps training (desirable – training provided)
 - 
DBS check will be required (provided by employer)
 - 
Willingness to be on-call for emergency incidents, including weekends and nights
